The subject:

Locally known as "The Shooting Cabin," this site actually consists of two buildings located just off the Snake Path. It’s a popular spot for walkers from Hayfield. Behind it, Leygatehead Moor provides a mostly trackless route to Ashop Head, avoiding the descent required by the standard Snake Path route to Kinder Scout via the Reservoir and William Clough. In the distance, the cliffs of Kinder near Sandy Heys (SK0789) rise dramatically, with Kinder Downfall hidden in a valley to the right.

In this small group workshops I’ll walk you through the fun process of creating mixed-media paintings, from sketching and adding texture to exploring collage, and painting with acrylics.

Whether you’re new to painting or more experienced, everyone is welcome! Forget about perfection and just enjoy the creative journey together. At the end, you can take home your finished painting.

All materials and refreshments included.

Please note we'll be using acrylic paints and inks so don't wear your best jumper and feel free to bring an apron.

More than 14 days before: Cancel anytime up to 2 weeks before your workshop for a full refund—no worries at all.
Less than 14 days before: We can’t offer refunds this close to the date, but you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend or reschedule if space allows.
No-shows: If you don’t show up, we’re not able to refund or credit your booking.
