The subject:

The Moulin Rouge is a historic cabaret located in the Montmartre district of Paris. It opened in 1889 and quickly became known for its dance performances, including the can-can. One of its most recognizable features is the red windmill mounted on the roof. The windmill was included as a reference to the many real windmills that once stood on the Montmartre hill. Although it is decorative rather than functional, it has remained an important part of the building’s identity. Today, the Moulin Rouge continues to operate as a major tourist attraction and performance venue, offering large-scale stage shows for visitors from around the world.

In this small group workshops I’ll walk you through the fun process of creating mixed-media paintings, from sketching and adding texture to exploring collage, and painting with acrylics.

Whether you’re new to painting or more experienced, everyone is welcome! Forget about perfection and just enjoy the creative journey together. At the end, you can take home your finished painting.

All materials and refreshments included.

Please note we'll be using acrylic paints and inks so don't wear your best jumper and feel free to bring an apron.

Less than 14 days before: We can’t offer refunds this close to the date, but you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend or reschedule if space allows.
No-shows: If you don’t show up, we’re not able to refund or credit your booking.
