Rob’s interpretation of the Dome
Rob’s next showcase is the Peak District Artisans Event in Buxton. Hosted within a unique setting, the Devonshire Dome was built for the 5th Duke of Devonshire. It is the largest unsupported dome in Europe and again, this year, holds this award-winning celebration of unique, artistic works.
It has become one of the most highly regarded art events in the North West, featuring fine artists, designer makers and artisans based in and around the Peak District. Browse and buy whilst taking in the atmosphere of this historic backdrop.
The event includes:

• Illustrated Talks and Demos
• Winning entries from ‘Young Artist of the Year’ Competition
• Silent Auction in aid of Helen’s Trust featuring original pieces in a variety of
disciplines and workshop experiences

The Silent Auction in aid of Helen’s Trust showcases some of the very best work from exceptional artisans, giving you a chance to own a unique piece of art or the opportunity to experience a workshop whilst helping to raise money for a very worthy cause.
Rob will be holding a demonstration on Saturday morning at 10.45am in the Lecture Theatre after which you will have the opportunity to bid for this demonstration piece during the Silent Auction.

Unveiled for the first time, TEN brand new originals

Rob is looking forward, once again to the annual Derbyshire Open Arts Event. It is a great opportunity for him to meet and greet followers of his work in person and to chat about his inspiration. As one of his favourite events, Rob displays his work within his home, giving a relaxed and casual feel to the exhibition.
This year’s event coincides with Rob’s two year association with Contemporary Six Gallery, Manchester and is his first showing of the specially priced, limited edition print to celebrate this.
Rob would love to see you at the event and hope this will match the success of previous years.
There is an opportunity to purchase some of his work and chat with the artist himself, and to visit other participating artists in the area. Rob’s home, at 49 Bridgemont, near Whaley Bridge SK23 7PD is open 11am-4pm.

Special Edition Celebratory Offer

Rob has been busily working on a very special piece which is to commemorate his two year association with Contemporary Six The Gallery, Manchester and is proud to announce a special limited edition print of ‘The Shambles Square’.
This commemorative piece features Rob himself, sketching the scene and is a unique study of the Shambles Square, and includes the infamous Shambles Pub and the historic Corn Exchange Building.
This stunning print which is limited to 50 copies, is to be offered at the very special price of £95 for four weeks only. The mounted image measures 71 x 48cm and will be displayed alongside the original at Rob’s home during the Derbyshire Open Arts Event.

With the run up to the Derbyshire Open Arts event this year, Rob has gone all out to finish some fresh new pieces to showcase for the first time.
The Spring Bank Holiday weekend- Saturday 25th to Monday 27th May has become a great opportunity for Rob to unveil his latest pieces. These include Victoria Baths, Print Works and the City Art Gallery in Manchester, Macclesfield Market and Fernilee Reservoir amongst others.
Visitors to Rob’s canal-side residence experience a different atmosphere to formal gallery exhibitions, as paintings are hung within his home and on display in his canal-side retreat. This intimate setting gives way to a casual, leisurely encounter, with time to ponder and absorb the atmosphere and background from which Rob takes his inspiration. The ambience of the setting can be contemplated over a cup of tea and slice of cake, either on the terrace or by the canal-side.
